The Future Internet of Things aims at increasing the pervasiveness of the Internet by integrating every day objects for interaction via embedded systems. Typically this leads to a highly distributed network of devices, which need to communicate with human beings as well as with other devices. With the increase of heterogeneity, it has became very difficult to insure interactions with devices on a unified manner. Enabling easy convergence, and interoperability of heterogeneous devices to the Internet will be the key to the success of the Future Internet of Things. Moreover, Future Internetrequirements for intelligent interaction with the environment led to the emergence of wireless sensor networks connected to the Internet. There is a need forthose networks to provide their information in an interpretable form and to reduce the complexity of accessing sensor services for applications or other systems.

The goal of this workshop is to bring together industrial or academic researchers and developers interested in connecting limited embedded (web) services and/or sensor networks with the Internet in order to build the Internet of Things. Through paper presentations and discussions, this workshop will contribute to the exchange of knowledge and ideas, dissemination of results about completed and on-going research projects, as well as identification and analysis of remaining open research issues.
